Hourly wage: $13.80 (+Tips) – $15.00 per hour

Job Prerequisites:
Host: Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Applicants should have no sensitivities to cleaning chemicals, high temperatures and be able to work with all food types, including pork and seafood. Previous kitchen experience is preferred.

Job Description :
Host: The primary role is host, however, participants must be willing to do any position at the restaurant, at any given time of their schedules. As a Hostess, the main duties are to present menus, create a personal dining experience, answer questions, and offer information on menu items, beverages, and specials. Hostess Job Responsibilities include:
- Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner. Ascertain their dining/lodging needs.
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
- Monitors restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
- Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Dishwasher, Cook: Participants must be flexible with completing tasks as necessary based on restaurant needs.
You may assist in dishwashing, line cook and cook duties or a combination, based on individual skills and business needs. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning dishes, kitchen, food preparation equipment & utensils. Restock food goods. Wash and mop kitchen floors. Take trash out. Cook duties include the following:
- Preparing food before meal service begins, including chopping vegetables, breaking down meat into serving sizes, making sauces and dividing herbs
- Setting up and stocking kitchen stations
- Cooking assigned foods during restaurant service while complying with senior chefs instructions and recommendations
- Plating cooked foods
- Keeping food stations clean and organized
- Complying with mandatory food safety standards and regulations
- Preparing food before meal service begins, including chopping vegetables, breaking down meat into serving sizes, making sauces and dividing herbs
- Setting up and stocking kitchen stations
- Cooking assigned foods during restaurant service while complying with senior chefs’ instructions and recommendations
- Plating cooked foods
- Keeping food stations clean and organized
- Complying with mandatory food safety standards and regulations
You will be expected to work with hot water and cleaning chemicals on a daily basis. Please do not apply if you have any sensitivities to cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. It’s important to stay flexible. Must have open availability.

Meals: Yes, 1 free meal per shift. Discounted meals can be purchased off shift.
