Position Available: 1 – 2 Positions

Hourly wage: $16.00 – $16.50 /Hr

Average of Hours: Estimated Average Hours per Week (32+)

Overtime Details: Only available for more than 40 hours working collected in a week. OT will be paid at 1.5 x hourly rate.

Average of Hours per week: 32+ (Throughout the whole program. Work hours depend on weather, worksite occupancy conditions, and employee attendance. Must work till the last day on DS-2019 form)

Job Prerequisites:

  • Students must work until the final day of the agreement.
  • Students need to be ready to perform housekeeping jobs and to work at the laundry if needed.
  • Students must be prepared to perform duties at all departments, including public area cleaning, housekeeping, and dishwasher / food Prep / cashier / front Desk
  • F&B/Kitchen students can work both in front or back of the restaurant.
  • Students must be prepared for high and low hotel operations and work as many hours as possible during high peak business and expect low hours during the slow weeks!
  • Able to meet physical qualifications of the job, which include bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and long periods of standing
  • Students are prepared to work at any department if needed (such as Housekeeping, Kitchen or F&B).
  • Students should be flexible and should be prepared to work in a variety of positions. However, upon arrival the employer will assign you to a certain position role and no changes will be permitted thereafter.
  • No big groups of friends and couples will not be guaranteed to live together.
  • Students must be able to perform duties related with the use of all chemicals and cleaning agents.

Job Description:

  • Public Area Cleaning/Housekeeping:
    • Clean and restock hotel rooms, hallways, and public areas.
    • Make beds, clean bathrooms, and replace dirty linens.
    • Dust, vacuum, polish furniture, and freshen rooms with air spray.
    • Maintain cleanliness outside guest rooms, in hallways, and on surrounding grounds.
    • Operate laundry equipment; wash, dry, fold, and deliver sheets, pillowcases, blankets, and other linens.
    • Restock guest amenities and ensure supplies are available.
    • Clean wastebaskets, mirrors, shelves, doorframes, windows, and baseboards.
    • Perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, twisting, lifting, and standing for long periods.
    • Report maintenance issues promptly and turn in any lost-and-found items.
  • Dishwasher/Food Service Utility Associate/Runner:
    • Maintain the dish room and operate dishwashing machines, ensuring all dishes are cleaned and stored properly.
    • Work in environments that may be wet and occasionally cold.
    • Assist with stocking, serving, and bussing in food and beverage areas.
    • Support guests by taking and expediting food orders when needed.
    • Prepare and plate food items as required.
    • Safely load and unload dishes and utensils, carry supplies, and restock items as necessary.
  • Food Preparation: Chop, prepare, and store food safely while following proper food handling guidelines.
  • Bussers: Support staff and guests by clearing and cleaning tables, removing used dishes and utensils, transporting items to the kitchen, and keeping dining areas tidy.
  • Hosts: Welcome and seat guests, provide information, and ensure seating follows restaurant procedures.
  • Cashiers: Assist guests with purchases, answer questions, help locate merchandise, restock items, and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems.

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+ only)

Start Date: March 25th – April 2nd, 2026

End Date: June 10th – June 20th, 2026

Housing Information

Housing assisted by: Employer

Cost Details: $85.00 – $175 per student per week (on same property as lodge or within 1 mile) ($200 will be due for the housing deposit thru fist payroll deduction)
