Position: Resort Worker (Housekeeping, Food Service Associate, Cashier, Dishwasher)
Position Available: 2 – 3 Positions
Hourly wage: $16.00 – $16.50 /Hr
Average of Hours: Estimated Average Hours per Week (32+)
Overtime Details: Only available for more than 40 hours working collected in a week. OT will be paid at 1.5 x hourly rate.
Number of days per week: Varies
Job Prerequisites:
- Students must work until the final day of the agreement.
- Students need to be ready to perform housekeeping jobs and to work at the laundry if needed.
- F&B/Kitchen students can work both in front or back of the restaurant.
- Students must be prepared for high and low hotel operations and work as many hours as possible during high peak business and expect low hours during the slow weeks!
- Able to meet physical qualifications of the job, which include bending, twisting, lifting, pushing and long periods of standing
- Students are prepared to work at any department if needed (such as Housekeeping, Kitchen or F&B).
- Students should be flexible and should be prepared to work in a variety of positions. However, upon arrival the employer will assign you to a certain position role and no changes will be permitted thereafter.
- Students must be able to perform duties related with the use of all chemicals and cleaning agents.
Job Descriptions:
- Housekeeping:
- Students may be responsible for general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Ensure that all rooms are properly maintained and inspected in line with established standards.
- Carefully check up on equipment and verify that everything is in good working condition.
- Report any damages, shortages, or disruptions to supervisors.
- Handle reasonable guest requests or complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Monitor supply levels of consumable items and restock as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations closely and remain attentive to company policies and procedures.
- Food Service Associate:
- Stock, serve, and bus food and beverage areas while assisting guests with ordering and expediting meals.
- Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, clean the dish room, and properly wash and store all dishware.
- Work in environments that may be wet or cold.
- Prepare and plate food items as required.
- Keep workstations, equipment, floors, walls, and cooking areas clean and sanitized.
- Deliver food, beverages, and supplies efficiently and on time.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
- Dishwasher:
- Collect used dishes and kitchenware from dining areas and the kitchen.
- Load and unload items from dishwashing machines.
- Hand-wash specific items such as wooden boards, large pots, and delicate chinaware.
- Store cleaned dishes, glassware, and equipment in their proper places.
- Prepare workstations prior to meal preparation.
- Ensure a steady supply of clean dishes, utensils, and glasses, especially during busy hours.
- Monitor cleaning supplies, restock as needed, and place orders when necessary.
- Check dishwashing machines for proper operation and promptly report any malfunctions.
- Dispose of garbage on a regular basis.
- Sanitize the kitchen area, including floors and work surfaces.
- Cashier / Stocker:
- Process customer transactions efficiently using the cash register.
- Scan items and verify correct pricing.
- Accept payments by cash, credit, or other methods.
- Provide receipts, refunds, change, or tickets as needed.
- Redeem coupons, vouchers, and promotional stamps.
- Promote additional products and introduce new items to customers.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism while offering helpful guidance.
- Keep checkout counters neat, organized, and presentable.
- Record transactions accurately and report any discrepancies.
- Bag, box, or gift-wrap purchased items.
- Manage returns and exchanges according to store policy.
English Required skills: Upper Intermediate – Advance (A, B+, B, C+ only)

Cost Amount: $65 / student / week (180$ will be due for the housing deposit thru fist payroll deduction)
