Wage comments: $14.00 per hour plus tips
Overtime: Slight
Overtime details: Very slight change of any overtime. Do not expect it. Any overtime must be approved by management.
Bonus: Yes, Based on hours worked.
Meals: 50% meals while working and 25% discount. 25% discount at Quizino’s sub sandwich shop.

Job Description:
- Join the team at Dairy Queen in Jamestown, North Dakota! In this fast-paced ice cream and fast-food restaurant, participants will rotate through a variety of customer service and kitchen duties. This position is ideal for friendly, dependable individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare burgers, drinks, and ice cream treats according to company standards.
- Handle payments, including cash and credit card transactions.
- Assist customers at the drive-thru window (for high-performing team members).
- Perform daily setup, food preparation, cleaning, and breakdown of equipment.
- Wash dishes, clean bathrooms, empty trash, and maintain cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management or shift leaders.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Must be dependable, honest, and a good team player.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).
- Basic math skills and familiarity with U.S. currency and credit card transactions.
- Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule & Expectations
- Must be flexible with scheduling and available to work weekends (Friday–Sunday), holidays, and evening shifts.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Shifts and hours will vary based on business needs; some days may be slower than others.
- Must maintain a professional attitude and follow directions from supervisors.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
- Must be willing to assist in various roles as requested by management.
Other Requirements
- Participants are not permitted to miss shifts due to other jobs or online classes.
- Calling out sick or missing shifts may result in fewer scheduled hours that week.
