Job Prerequisites:
Excellent customer service skills are required. Also, participants need to be comfortable working in an open-air area. Some positions require being comfortable at heights of 15 feet or more for extended periods of time.
Participants must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather.
Job Description :
Mountain Adventures Park Operators assist guests in the safe use of various mountain park outdoor attractions, including facilitating the start and finish of the zipline, removal and loading of mountain slide carts, and communicating general information and safety rules to the guests.
As a Mountain Adventure Park Operator, participants will be responsible, but not limited to the following job duties:
- Check tickets
- Assist guests with general resort information
- Instruct guests on how to use adventure activities safely
- Monitor guests during their activities and ensure they are participating in activities in a safe manner
- Assist guests as they load and unload the chairlift, mountain coaster, giant swing, and the soaring eagle zipline
- Assist guests at the entrances and exits of adventure activities
- Load mountain bikes on chair lift which are approximately 25 pounds
- Pick up trash at mountain base and activity areas
- Able to be on their feet for the entire shift
English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B) only

Transportation details: Cranmore Mountain Resort provides a work shuttle to transport international employees to / from work is about 5-15 minutes

Outside of summer sports on the mountain, the area offers retail shopping for all ages, family outings and activities as well as restaurants and seasonal celebrations. Outlet stores are within walking distance of housing. There are numerous area attractions that employees can access for free such as Mt Washington Cog Railway, Story Land, Santa’s Village. Outdoor activities include biking, hiking, swimming, canoeing, rock-climbing.
Portland, Maine is one hour away. Participants visit here to see the Atlantic Ocean and eat lobster rolls. Many participants have enjoyed visiting Boston, a 3-hour bus ride.
There are no public transportation options in North Conway. Notes below on amenities. There are taxi services available.
