Position:  Bar Back

Position Available: 1 Position

Hourly wage: $12.48 per Hour

Estimated hours per week: 32 – 40 Average Hours

Job Prerequisites:

• Candidate Criteria: We seek upbeat, positive candidates with a high level of Advanced and strong academic performance (minimum GPA of 80%). Please note we do not place groups larger than two students with the same host company, nor do we accommodate romantic couples or mixed-gender housing for couple
• Advance English.
• Employers want excellent comprehension, good conversational English and reading.
• Must be mature and responsible.

Bar Back:

• Must speak and read English on an advanced level.
• Must be outgoing, friendly, always smiling.

Job Description:

• Restock the bar with liquor, mixers, beer, garnishes, ice, and glassware throughout the shift.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully supplied at all times.
• Assist bartenders by preparing garnishes, refilling ice bins, and replacing empty bottles.
• Collect and wash bar glasses, ensuring a steady supply for bartenders.
• Remove trash, wipe counters, and maintain overall bar cleanliness.
• Help with basic drink preparation during busy periods (as assigned by bartenders).
• Check inventory levels and alert bartenders or managers when supplies run low.
• Organize storage and keep stockrooms tidy.
• Follow alcohol safety policies and all hotel service standards.
• Provide friendly support to the bar team to ensure fast and smooth service.

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate – Advanced (A, B+, B ONLY)

Start Date: May 7^th – June 15^th, 2026

End Date: September 7th, 2026

Meals: Yes – $50 per week in Employee Café for specific positions (Optional)
