Meals details: A free limited menu shift meal is provided on days when participants are working. If not working employees are able to purchase 1 meal per day at 50% off. Details will be outlined during training.
Job Descriptions:
- Language Level required for this position: Great
- Welcoming customers, making recommendations, and taking drink orders, informing customers about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Stocking to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Helping prep in kitchen, filling items.
- Some light cooking involved. Also helping wear ever needed.
- Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol. (18 yrs)
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.
- Participants may be handling pork products.
- Participants will be coming into contact with alcohol.
- Participants may earn tips. Last year, employees who performed to the expectations of this position earned $3-4 per hour in tips above the hourly wage of $11.13. Tips can vary from day to day based on business volume and individual performance. Details will be provided during onboarding.
