Job Prerequisites:
- Must be able to stand for the full duration of each shift.
- Must be comfortable working with all types of food, including pork and seafood.
- Must have no sensitivities or allergies to standard cleaning chemicals used in the workplace.
- Prefer applicants in their first or second year of university; senior students are not eligible.
- Prefer students majoring in hospitality or those with a strong interest in the service industry.
- Prefer applicants 21 years or older due to beer and wine service, though younger candidates may still apply.
Job Description:
The crew member position includes doing a bit of everything: customer service, cash handling, food preparation, cooking, and cleaning. It is important to remain flexible as management may require you to work in one area of the restaurant or work in multiple areas during your work shifts based on business needs. Tips are split equally based on hours worked: 50% for the front-of-house staff and 50% for the back-of-house staff. Wages start at $13 per hour, promotion potential up to $16/hour. The host prefers applicants that are at least 21 years old since beer and wine is served, but younger is acceptable.
