Average hours/week: 32 – 40 hr
Benefits: All employees get 50% off food 30 minutes before, during, and 30 minutes after their shifts. Employees also get 15% off merchandise.
Job Description:
Cooking or preparing food items according to procedures or recipes. Placing food items on serving plates or dishes along with required condiments and utensils to present to customers. Preparing items quickly and accurately ensuring no waste and in accordance with production and portion requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment
English Required skills: Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+, C only)
Start Date: 1st – 15th April, 2027
End Date: 15th – 30th June, 2027

The Old Firehouse Winery is the largest lakefront winery in Ohio. We offer a full service restaurant, nightly entertainment, wine and beer, as well as 2 full service bars on site. We offer the best of a night club and a winery put together. No stuffy wine snobs here. That is not to say that we don’t take our wine making seriously. We offer 20 different wines with options for any palate.
We are located in the heart of the small village vacation community of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio (www.visitgenevaonthelake.com). We do have a bit of night life between the bars and other clubs. We are host to several major festival including Thunder on the Strip (www.thunderonthestrip.com). However, the town is quiet and laid back. Individuals who enjoy a small town atmosphere would be best suited for here.
We are located on the shores of Lake Erie and have seasonal temperatures of 55 Degrees Fahrenheit (Spring and Late Summer evenings) to 90 degrees Fahrenheit (Peak Summer Days). Participants should have clothing to accommodate all temperatures.
