Meals details: Yes, participants can use the Associate Cafeteria for all meals. This cost is lumped into the weekly housing rent deduction.

  • Previous experience in hospitality preferred.

 

Job Descriptions:

In this position, you may assist in multiple areas of the kitchen based on individual business needs and skill sets. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to; preparing cold foods, slicing vegetables, meats, preparing menu items in accordance with recipes, and many other tasks designated by the Kitchen Manager. Prep cooks are responsible for maintaining the area they work in and must adhere to the cleanliness and sanitation policies in place.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
  • Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service.
  • Display basic knife skills
  • Required to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.
  • Refrigeration and serving of cold food.
  • Production of orders Tools and Equipment:
  • Cooking utensils and equipment, pots, pans, dishware, silverware, glassware, food slicing machine, knives Oven, grill/stove burners, microwave appliances, steam kettle.
  • Working Environment: Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.
  • Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to food items and beverages.

 

Qualifications:

  • Have knowledge in a wide range of cooking techniques
  • Must have good computer skills and organization skills
  • Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

 

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+ only)

Details:
  • Some housing is on site and some are a short shuttle ride away. Most housing is a short shuttle ride away (15 minutes). The premium housing is on site but is more expensive.
  • Omni requires participants to stay in Omni provided accommodations. There are some dorms on the property and some nearby. The free shuttle is provided. Cost for housing is up to $155.00, along with a $10 weekly refundable deposit. There is an employee cafeteria that provides three meals daily  

Housing locations and costs are below:  

 All prices include $10/week security deposit that participant gets back upon departure if room is left in good condition. Prices include transportation around resort and meals in the cafeteria.  

Transportation details: Free Shuttle transportation on a bus back and forth. Please note the shuttles run on a on demand schedule and can take a long time to arrive. Plan accordingly.
