Job Description :
Participants work assignments will be selected based on arrival dates, associates must be willing to work in any of the listed positions. The daily job duties will vary depending on business need and skills. The job may entail working in cold temperatures inside a cooler and working in hot temperatures outdoors. Team members may also assist with maintain public restrooms.
Cashier duties:
- Scan products for purchase.
- Collect payment and process transactions.
- This position requires a strong understanding of U.S. currency.
- Participants must be patient, cheerful, and possess excellent customer service skills to perform this job successfully.
Bagger duties:
- Place products into paper or plastic bags.
- Deliver bags to customers’ cars.
- Bring grocery carts inside from the parking lot.
Stocker Duties:
- Maintain order and inventory control.
- Unload supply trucks.
- Build and maintain product displays as directed.
- Rotate and price products after stocking.
- Clean stocking, staging, and common areas.
- Break down boxes.
- Provide quality customer service by interacting with customers to create a positive shopping experience.
- Participants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move continuously (standing, bending, walking) while at work.
Fresh Food, Meat, Seafood, and Produce Clerk / Barista Duties:
- Obtain or prepare food items requested by customers at the deli counter.
- Fill orders by obtaining items from shelves, freezers, coolers, or storage bins, and by weighing and wrapping foods.
- Decorate cakes and create party trays according to standards.
Cook, price, and package products, and operate approved equipment as necessary.
Note:
- Participants will use cleaning chemicals in this position.
- Participants may handle pork products and alcohol in this position.
- English skills required for this position: EXCELLENT
