Position: Resort Worker
Position Available: 1 Position (Female only)
Hourly wage: $16.00 per hour
Estimated hours per week: 32 – 40 hours per week
Benefit: Free beach access right across the street pool, hot tub, and sauna access housing is on site (no need for transportation)
Job Description :
This is a combined role with responsibilities in both Laundry and at the Front Desk.
Laundry: Laundry associate will be responsible for loading articles into washers or dry-cleaning machines, starting washers, dry cleaners, driers, or extractors, turning valves or levers to regulate machine processes and the volume of soap, detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives, and removing items from washers or dry-cleaning machines. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Front Desk : Previous front desk experience is preferred. Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations. Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the hotel’s amenities. Occasionally walking guests to show rooms (stairs may be required as we do not have elevators). Take payment from customers.
Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner. Explain local amenities and attractions to guests. Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs. If you’re interested in Sales / the Hotel/Motel Management or Travel fields, this is perfect for you! It’s a will train you. When you depart- we will give you a letter of recommendation describing your experience. May be required to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25lbs, and walking up stairs
Due to the nature of our short season, we are all required to share in all the responsibilities and ‘wear all hats’.
