Position Available: 1 Position (Female Only)

Hourly wage:  17.00 per hour

Bonus: Yes

Bonus comments: $500 bonus is possible. It is the management’s discretion (not a guarantee). Bonus is based on you working until your contracted end date on your Job Offer. Also on the hours worked, attitude, work performance, being a team player, no written discipline, or excessive absences from work.

Overtime: Slight

Overtime details: Very slight change of any overtime. Do not expect it. Any overtime must be approved by management.

Estimated hours per day: 5-8 hour

Meals details: 20% discount available at local restaurants in town.

Job prerequisites: Customer service is very important — you must be friendly and helpful to guests and

coworkers.

This is a fast-paced position that requires physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks

properly.

Job Descriptions: As a member of the housekeeping team at Greens Hotels (Motel 6 San Simeon), you will play

a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This position is physically demanding and requires attention to detail, punctuality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, floors, walls, and furniture. Change linens, make beds, and restock rooms with fresh towels and amenities. Vacuum carpets, clean mirrors and windows, and dust surfaces. Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms. Empty trash in guest rooms and public spaces. Inspect rooms for maintenance or repair needs and notify supervisors. Restock housekeeping supply carts and linen closets regularly. Follow all safety and cleaning procedures when using chemicals and equipment. Assist with other cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by management. Be flexible and willing to help in other departments when needed.

Requirements: Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and consistency in maintaining cleanliness standards. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely. Flexible schedule—must be available for weekends, holidays, and variable shifts based on hotel occupancy.

Additional Expectations: Missed shifts due to illness or personal reasons may reduce weekly hours. Work schedules are determined by business needs and may not align with other commitments (such as second jobs or online classes).

Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude toward guests and coworkers at all times.

 This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, dependable, and take pride in creating a clean and welcoming environment for hotel guests.
