Hourly wage:
- Guest Room Attendant $16.00 per hour
- Event Services $14.80 per hour
Estimated hours: 32 hours average per week

Event Services
- Must have strong organizational skills and pay attention to detail.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and floor plans.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, stand for long periods, and perform manual tasks.
Additional Requirements:
- Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, late evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to last-minute change

Job Description:
Guest Room Attendant
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of assigned guest rooms
- Previous cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with guests preferred
- Must have a strong desire to satisfy guest needs in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight

Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Cleaning guest rooms and common areas
- Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, and showers
- Changing linens
- Laundry
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Emptying trash
- Job is very physically demanding
- Must be prepared to stand, bend, and push a 50 lb (23 kg) cart throughout the day
- Requires strong attention to detail
- Must be punctual
- Must have a positive service attitude and strong team spirit
- Should not apply if sensitive to chemicals or lotions
- Should not apply if having physical limitations that prevent job performance
- Other tasks may be assigned by the supervisor
- May be cross trained to assist in another department
- Must be dependable, hardworking, friendly, trustworthy, and honest
- May not receive the same days off as friends
- Work schedule may change
- Employer provides meals during work shifts only
- Students are responsible for meals outside of scheduled shifts
- May need to wait up to 1 week to start working (pending drug test results and paperwork completion)

Event Services
Event Preparation:
- Set up and arrange tables, chairs, linens, and other furniture based on event specifications and floor plans.
- Position stages, podiums, and audiovisual equipment as required for conferences, meetings, and social events.
- Ensure all decorations, signage, and displays are properly arranged and aligned with the event’s theme or client’s requirements.
- Equipment Handling:
- Safely transport and assemble equipment such as projectors, sound systems, and lighting.
- Conduct routine checks on audiovisual equipment to ensure proper functionality before and during the event.
Coordination with Event Staff:
- Work closely with the Banquet Manager and Event Coordinator to understand the specific needs for each event.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure timely setup and availability of required resources.
Event Maintenance:
- Monitor the event setup throughout the function, adjusting necessary to maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Provide on-site support during events to address any setup-related issues.
Post-Event Breakdown:
- Dismantle and store furniture, equipment, and decorations after the event.
- Ensure that event spaces are cleaned and reset according to hotel standards.

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate – Advanced (A, B+, B ONLY)

End Date: 31st August – 7th September 2026
