Position: Dishwasher/Prep Cook
Position Available: 2 Positions
Hourly wage: 15.00 per hour
Estimated hours per day: 32 hours per week
Meals details: 50% off discount is available to employees.
Job prerequisites: Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 40lbs and have no sensitivities to
cleaning chemicals. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must. Participants must understand that they will be assigned to two restaurant locations, Wally’s Pub and The Goat Bar and Grille based on business needs. These two locations are less than 200ft apart.
In order to streamline the onboarding process, the host employer prefers that participants
arrive on one of the three following dates: 5/15, 6/15, or 7/1.
Job Descriptions: In this position, duties include but are not limited to; washing dishes, glassware, flatware,
pots, and pans; using a dishwashing machine or by hand. Placing clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment and cooking equipment in storage areas, sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas, sweep, and mop floors. Maintaining kitchen and dish areas in a clean and orderly condition. When assisting as a prep cook participants will prepare raw foods to restaurant standards. Stock products and maintain a clean work environment. Additional tasks may be assigned by the manager as necessary.
