Hourly wage: $5.00 + tips – $15.75 per hour

Estimated work hours: 32 Hours average per week

Employee Benefits

Employees receive a 30% discount on food at most snowshoe owned locations, 45% discount at select F&B locations. Employees also receive a 30% discount at retail stores on soft goods (I.E. – Clothing), and 15% on hard goods (I.E. – Mountain bikes) in addition to complimentary mountain biking passes and golf green fee. Employee sales occur randomly throughout the season ranging anywhere from 35 to 50% off select goods. Walmart trips in the summer will be every two weeks but can be adjusted based on participants’ needs.

Job Description:

  • Chambermaid/Housekeeper: $15 per hour. To provide even flow of work within the housekeeping department by assisting in all aspects of assistant executive housekeeper’s duties. Maintains lodging accommodations by providing clean and comfortable units. Clean units by: removing trash and dirty linen, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, making bed, washing windows. Reports Lost and Found by: Turning in items left by direct report. Contributes to team effort by: Accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Cashier: $15 per hour. Employee will be responsible for all aspects of the cashiering/hostessing position including, but not limited to: Handling Currency – Money/Credit. Ringing In Guest Transactions. Great Guests Provide Great Customer Service Control the flow (seating times) of the restaurant. Accepting/Distributing appropriate cash/credit amount per action. Providing great customer service. Ensure positive experiences for the guests. Utilization of a computer and software to carryout job position.

  • Busser: $15 per hour. To work efficiently, quickly and quietly in keeping tables cleaned and re-setting them by cleaning and maintaining the dining room while assisting servers whenever necessary. The busser should represent the company in accordance with its policies and procedures.

  • Host/Hostess: $15 per hour. To greet, seat and insure that the guests are given prompt and courteous service by answering the telephone, utilizing seating charts, wait lists and representing the company in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Barista: $14 per hour. To work efficiently providing and serving our guests with a variety of drinks and food in accordance to the company policies and procedures, Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients, Follow all health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products, Deliver quality and timely guest service to all guests even in periods of high volume, Maintain a clean work environment to include, workstation, dining area, drink station, etc., Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling, safety and security, Anticipate guest and store needs by evaluating environment and guest for cues, Engage and communicate with the guest to better understand their needs, Provide information to the guest by being knowledgeable about the resort, Obtain West Virginia’s Food Handlers certification upon hire.

  • Food Runner: $15 per hour. Ensure accuracy of the food cooked to the ticket rang in. Preparing the plates and delivering the food to the table. Fulfilling any needs the guests may have after the food is delivered.

 

  • Banquet Worker: $10 per hour. Contributes to guest experience of the Conference Center by cleaning and setting to standard all function space and the conference center commons areas for group and conference accounts as well as internal guests.

 

  • Line Cook: $15 per hour. Provide an expedited and precise food product for Snowshoe Mountain, WV. Culinary Experience preferred.

 

  • Dishwasher: $15 per hour. Maintains guest satisfaction by ensuring a clean and sanitary atmosphere for guests and co-workers.

 

  • Retail Sales: $15 per hour. The Village Scoop ice cream shop cashier has the following job responsibilities: Collects payment Computing items and services sold to guest showing amounts due and collecting the amount due Ensures correct revenue Input amounts collected into the cash system Record amounts received Record transactions on daily report and balancing report to cash register tape Controls proper distribution of revenue Close checks to the correct payment type to ensure closing reports are balanced Helps management with the control of sales Make sure that all items are rung up and accounted for Contributes to team effort by supporting daily duties by assisting with guest orders such as ice cream scooping, making milkshakes and smoothies, making ice cream sundaes, and any additional items added to the menu as well as keeping a clean working and guest environment Accomplish related results as needed.
  • Lifeguard: $15.75 per hour. Employees will be responsible for life guarding the aquatics facilities Split Rock Pools and Shavers Lake at Snowshoe Mountain Resort during all operational hours. Employees will also complete Ellis Lifeguard Certification.

 

  • Waiter/Waitress: $5 + tips per hour. Server: Snowshoe has a variety of dining outlets. We’re seeking enthusiastic and friendly Servers to provide our guests with that special hospitality that makes them consider Snowshoe their home away from home. Servers will be responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking orders, delivering food and drinks, recommending dining options and assisting the team.

 

  • General Food and Beverage Worker: $14 per hour. The Food and Beverage Attendant position covers the middle ground between front of the house and back of the house food and beverage operations in our F&B Cabins. This position will allow an individual the ability to contribute to kitchen/dining/cashier/cooking duties while being scheduled in a respective role daily directly reporting to a leader. Includes Cashier, Kitchen/Cook.

 

  • Cook: $15.50 per hour. Preparing and delivering guest food orders according to recipes and instructions provided by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs. Maintaining a high level of output to meet business demands while paying strict attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Safety protocols must be followed when using kitchen equipment and preparing food. Assisting the culinary team with various tasks such as stocking ingredients, setting up workstations, and communicating effectively.

 

English Required Skills: Advance – Upper Intermidiate (A, B+, B, C+ Only)

Start date: May 27th  – June 24th , 2026 (Specific dates will be provided to the candidates. Wednesday pick up dates will be set for arrivals and program start dates.)

End date: August 21st  – September 7th , 2026 (Specific dates will be provided to the candidate. We will still accept applications of employees whose end dates are a bit earlier, but these are our ideal dates. )
