Position: Food Location Attendant
Position Available: 2 positions
Hourly wage: $16.94 per hour
Estimated work hours: 33 Hours average per week
Meals : There is a $50 meal plan ($50/every 2 week paycheck). This includes a meal card with $220 to be spent at your discretion. It will recharge automatically with each paycheck. More details to be provided during orientation.

- Friendly/patient with everyone
- Ok with being outside, rain or shine
- Can handle rude customers without taking it personally
- Employees must be willing to work weekends and Holidays during the summer.
- Friends and couples are welcome to apply, but should not expect to have the same shifts or days off.
- Housing is assigned based on availability at the discretion of manager; friends and couples should not expect to live together as housing is divided strictly by gender.
- Possession of alcohol or being under the influence of alcohol, or the possession of drugs or being under the influence of drugs while on duty is not tolerated.
- Quassy Amusement Park is a drug-free work place. Testing for illegal drugs or alcohol may be conducted randomly during employment at no charge to the employee.
- Completion of orientation upon arrival and documents including necessary US tax forms and the I-9 are required.
- Orientations are paid and must be completed prior to beginning work. Participants are asked to please remember to bring their passports and DS-2019 form to the orientation. If participants have a Social Security card, they need to bring this document as well.
- Two company shirts will be provided to participants along with a hat and nametag. Cost for this uniform is $45, which will be deducted from the first paycheck. However, $20 will be returned to the employee if the two shirts are returned, in their final paycheck.
- Participants will need to provide own khaki (tan colored) or dark blue shorts and pants with sneakers. A plain jacket and sweatshirt are recommended.
- Participants should be neat and clean when coming to work.
- Participants should ask their supervisor if they have a question about what is suitable.
Job Description:
- As a Restaurant Cashier, participants will be working in all areas of food sales, taking orders and payment while also delivering food and excellent customer service.
- Employees must be good with numbers and have the ability to multi task while counting and handling money.
- Participants in this position will also assist guests by answering general questions.
- Cashiers will be operating a computer based system for making sales and processing payment.
- Cashiers must be professional, polite, and reliable.
- Employees must be able to stand for long periods of time, and must be able to communicate
- effectively with guests. They must have a good working knowledge of U.S. currency and excellent customer service skills.
- They will also be straightening the sales area and cleaning during quiet hours or before or after the location is open.
- Participants will be using cleaning chemicals and may handle pork products.
