Job Prerequisites:

• Friends and couples are welcome to apply, however, they should not expect to be assigned the same dept, shift and/or be granted the same days off. Couples are prohibited from sharing same room.
• Participants will also need to complete a written exam on training.
• Participants may be subject to background checks or drug testing. Company policies will be reviewed upon onboarding.
• Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and Holidays.
• Uniform hat or visor, 4 shirts, and nametag will be provided. $80 will be deducted from your paycheck over several weeks until the deposit amount is met.
• The uniform deposit is refundable if participant completes their work program to their DS End Date AND are in good standing with the company,
• Khaki shorts or pants, a black belt, black athletic non-slip sneakers, and black ankle socks are required and will need to be purchased. Shorts must be of appropriate length to fall right above the knee. Short, shorts are not acceptable.

Job Description:

• Successful operation of greeting guests.
• Sale of park tickets and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
• Greet guests, visitors and employees in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Operate the Touch Screen Point of Sale (POS) system for admission fees and/or season passes.
• Understand park tickets and park sales strategy.
• Account for daily receipts and properly secure per Company policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of operations receipts and maintain proper security measures over receipts, records and cash.
• Assist in group functions.
• Assist in Cabana sales and maintains they are cleaned daily.
• Answer guests questions concerning park.
• Assist with operating turnstiles and enforcing park ticketing rules.
• Adhere to baggage check rules.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Keep a clean orderly work area.
• Provide guests with accurate park information.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations and requirements.
• Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by the reporting leader.
• Completes other duties and tasks as assigned by management. Assist other departments ifnecessary, e.g. Aquatics, Food & Beverage, and Park Services.
• Able to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.
• Must complete training and pass written exam.
