Job Descriptions:
Servers are responsible for accurately taking food and beverage orders with a positive and professional attitude. They engage with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring an excellent dining experience from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point of sale (POS) system.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and attentive manner.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and make thoughtful suggestions when appropriate.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and take prompt action to resolve any issues.
- Collect payment from each table.
- Run food and beverage orders and assist in bussing tables, whether assigned to you or another server.
- Complete and maintain all running and closing side work as assigned.
Compensation:
Tips are pooled and split equally between all front- and back-of-house team members based on hours worked. Last year, employees who performed to the expectations of this position earned an average between $1.50 and $2.50 in tips per hour. Tips can vary from day to day based on business volume. 50% of tips go to kitchen staff. (based on hours worked) 50% of tips go to front-of-house staff.(based on hours worked)
Requirements:
Completion of ServSafe Food Handling certification and TAP (Training for Alcohol Professionals) class for alcohol service prior to arrival and start of work. Classes are free. Additional information and guidance for completing these certifications will be provided.
Participants will be using cleaning chemicals. Participants may be handling pork products. Participants will be handling Alcohol. Mid-season Wage Increase is possible. Details will be provided at orientation. Language Level required for this position: Excellent
