Position: Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant
Position Available: 2 Positions
Hourly wage: $15.00 per hour
Tips: Possible
Bonus: Yes
Bonus comments: Participants may be eligible for up to a $1/hr bonus upon completion of the season.
Meals details: 3 meals a day are provided with housing.
Estimated hours per day: 32 hour weekly average
Job Prerequisites:
Must commit to contract end date. Please do not apply if you are sensitive to any kind of chemicals or lotions or have physical limitations that would keep you from doing your job. Must be 18 years old, have previous work experience and can lift up to 50lbs/23kg.
Job Descriptions:
Housekeeping duties will include, but not limited to: Cleaning rooms and common areas, including bathrooms, toilets and showers, changing linens, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and emptying trash, etc. Very physically demanding. Be prepared to stand, bend, and push a 50lb/23kg cart all day. Requires attention to detail, punctuality, and a great service attitude & team spirit. Must be 18 years old, have previous work experience and can lift up to 50lbs/23kg.
Laundry attendant duties include:
Keep work areas clean, neat, and organized. Attend meetings and obtain goals set by the managers Inform supervisor of inventory and ordering needs Spot treat, iron, launder, fold, and organize all lodge and hotel linens Pick up and drop off laundry at laundry facility. Distribute housekeeping deliveries Coordinate the daily laundering of lodge linens Fill linen orders Maintain inventories Safely operate, clean, and maintain laundry equipment Follow standardized laundry procedures Report maintenance problems and fill out appropriate forms Follow trained procedures of chemical use and cleaning procedures Complete team side work Other duties as assigned Employer may need to change position or location based on skill level, business needs, or to accommodate hours.
