Position: Lifeguard
Position Available: 4 positions
Hourly wage: $18.00 per hour
Estimated hours per week: 45 hours per week; employer is overtime exempt
Job Description :
Required: A swimming video*
Note:
- Advanced English skills for interacting with beach goers.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 10-100 pounds
- MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 500 METERS IN 10 MINUTES OR LESS.
Lifeguard: Under regular supervision, performs responsible lifesaving work in the Beach Services Division. Work involves using judgement in dealing with dangerous or unusual situations, exercising safety practices and procedures.
Working in an outdoor beach environment in various weather conditions including rain storms and high heat advisories.
MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT AND A STRONG SWIMMER.
English Required skills: Advance (A, B+, B) Only
Start Date: May 10th, 17th, 31st, – June 7th, 15th, 2026
End Date: August 30th – September 7th, 2026
You must start training on EITHER May 10, May 17, May 31, June 7 or June 15: training is 7 days. MUST arrive 5 days in advance of training.
Housing Information
Housing assisted by: Employer
Cost of housing: $140 per student per week
Overview of housing: Duplex style housing 4 students per room.
Transportation details: Housing is 1 mile from work; you can walk or ride a bicycle.
