Job Description :
Lifeguards: The key duty of a Lifeguard is to uphold the standards set forth by Jeff Ellis and Associates and Wilderness at the Smokies. Aquatics employees will start at $13 per hour until completing certification. Certified lifeguard pay is $14-$15 per hour depending on level of certification. Your responsibility is to protect and prevent injuries from occurring to swimmers.
Housekeeper: A Room Attendant works alone or as part of a team to clean a hotel room. The attendant is responsible for tasks such as wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, vacuuming, mopping and emptying trash bins.
Prep Cook: A Prep Cook coordinates with the Kitchen Supervisor and Kitchen Manager to prepare food by chopping and washing vegetables and meats as well as arranging salads, breads, sauces and dressings. A Prep Cook is responsible for maintaining the kitchen and ensuring it is clean and sanitized.
Cook: A Short Order Cook works within the Food & Beverage department. A Short Order Cook is responsible for preparing food rapidly and to order. Short Order Cooks use large cooking surfaces such as a large top griddle to fulfill multiple guest orders in a timely manner. Short Order Cooks are also responsible for adhering to the Health Departments’ policies and procedures.
