Job Description:
Responsibilities as an employee in the store will be to assist customers with purchases, ring up sales on the cash register, process credit cards or make change for cash sales.
There will be training on how to use a heat press to transfer decals on to clothing. In addition, pricing and stocking merchandise as needed and maintain a neat and organized store.
As customers come into the store they are to be greeted and told if they need help, you are there to assist them. If they have questions about the merchandise or pricing, employees are to answer those questions as well. There is a lot of interaction with customers, which requires the highest level of speaking and understanding English.
Additional responsibilities may include cashier responsibilities including receive and process cash, check and charge/credit payments. Keep merchandise area clean, stock and price items and all else assigned. Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications
- Participants should be neat, clean and presentable for the work environment.
- Hair must be clean and styled.
- Hair must be a neutral/natural color.
- Personal cleanliness is very important.
- Maintain good hygiene, preventing unpleasant breath and body odor.
- Clothing should be clean, pressed and properly fitted.
- Tattoos must be covered and no excessive piercings.
- Participants are Ambassadors of their home country and should make every effort to represent their country well.
- Please Note: Friends and couples are welcome to apply, however, they should not expect to be assigned the same shift or be granted the same days off.
English Required skills: Intermediate (A, B+, B only)

End Date: 1 June – 7 July, 2026

Cost of Housing: Participants are provided shared houses close to the work sites. Housing options are available at the following prices, based on 12 weeks:
- 1 person in room: $2500; $208.33 weekly
- 2 people in room: $2000; $166.67 weekly
- 3 people in room: $1800; $150 weekly
Transportation details: Bus, bicycle or walk

There are many things to do in Ocean City! Outdoor activities available in the spring and summer months include swimming, sunbathing, surfing, fishing, sailing, volleyball, picnicking. Other activities include art, craft and cultural fairs and shows, the Ocean City Air Show, dolphin watching and boat trips to Assateague Island (home to deer and wild ponies). Additionally, participants can discover Maryland’s colorful history at the Life-Saving Station Museum or else do some shopping in Ocean City’s outlets, malls. Within 2 1/2 hours driving distance are major cities like Washington DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City.
