Job Prerequisites:

• Ability to operate dishwashing machines and properly clean utensils, plates, and kitchen equipment.
• Knowledge of sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures in a kitchen environment.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and handle repetitive tasks.
• Attention to detail to ensure all dishes and kitchen tools are thoroughly cleaned and properly stored.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes wet or hot environment.
• Teamwork skills to coordinate with cooks, servers, and other kitchen staff.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Descriptions:

• Operate dishwashing machines and wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans according to hygiene standards.
• Hand-wash items that cannot go into the dishwasher, such as large pots or delicate glassware.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Collect, sort, and properly store clean dishes, silverware, and kitchen tools.
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials and keep waste areas clean.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed, including setting up or restocking workstations.
• Perform other duties assigned by kitchen supervisors to ensure smooth operation.

 

English Required skills: Upper Basic – Advanced (A, B+, B, C+, C)
