Position: Food Runner / Cashier

Position Available: 3 Positions (No Preference)

Hourly wage: $6.00 + Tips /Hr

Overtime Detail: Overtime MIGHT BE available but not guaranteed

Estimated hours: 32 hours /Week (Average)

Job Prerequisites:

Food Runner

• Ability to carry multiple plates or trays safely and efficiently
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with servers and kitchen staff
• Good physical stamina for standing and walking during shifts
• Attention to detail to ensure correct orders reach the right tables
• Teamwork skills and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

Cashier

• Basic math skills for handling cash and operating a register/POS system
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• Organizational skills to keep the checkout area clean and orderly
• Flexibility to assist with other tasks during slower periods
• Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with customers

Job Descriptions:

Food Runner

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
• Assist servers by ensuring meals are served in a timely manner
• Communicate with kitchen staff to confirm order accuracy and completeness
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
• Provide excellent guest service by being attentive and responsive to needs
• Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations

Cashier

• Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately
• Process cash, credit, and debit transactions while giving correct change
• Greet and assist customers with purchases in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area
• Answer customer questions and provide basic information about products or services
• Balance cash drawer at the end of shifts and report discrepancies if any
• Support team members by assisting with other duties during non-peak times

English Required skills: Intermediate – Advanced (A, B+, B)
