Overtime details: 1.5 X Normal rate. Overtime is offered but not guaranteed.

Job Prerequisites:
- Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and be around dust
- Friendly, positive attitude and good communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and helpful in a busy environment.
- Must be able to work outdoors for long periods in warm weather.
- Able to stand, walk, lift, and move pool furniture or supplies (up to 50 lbs).
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to work independently & part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure

- Strong work ethic
- Can work 8-10 hours on feet
- Must be able to lift up to 50lb

Job Description :
- Greet guests warmly and offer assistance with pool chairs, umbrellas, and towels.
- Set up and maintain lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas, and cabanas each day.
- Monitor pool area for cleanliness and safety, removing used towels and trash.
- Enforce pool rules in a polite and professional manner.
- Report any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Provide water and refreshments to guests as needed (if applicable).
- Respond to guest questions, requests, or concerns with a positive attitude.
- Assist with poolside events or activities (if part of the resort’s entertainment program).
- Ensure that the pool area is always guest-ready, clean, and welcoming
- Greet all guests warmly and assist with towel service, seating, and umbrellas.
- Set up and break down lounge chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, and tables daily.
- Monitor the pool area for cleanliness, safety, and guest needs throughout the day.
- Enforce resort pool rules in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a safe environment.
- Remove trash, dirty towels, and empty drinkware regularly.
- Maintain towel inventory and restock stations as needed.
- Assist with daily opening and closing duties for the pool and surrounding area.
- Check water stations and restock ice and water jugs.
- Assist with food & beverage service (if applicable): taking orders, delivering drinks/snacks, and clearing tables.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for clean-up or repairs.
- Support poolside activities and entertainment such as games, music, or fitness classes.
- Ensure cabanas and VIP guest areas are clean, stocked, and set up according to brand standards.
- Keep pool signage, safety equipment, and pathways visible and in good condition.
- Monitor guest behavior for signs of distress, unsafe conduct, or the need for assistance.
- Report incidents, injuries, or suspicious activity to management immediately.
- Maintain a calm, professional demeanor in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Offer suggestions or local knowledge to enhance the guest experience.
Disclaimer: Please note that this position requires participants to work outdoors for extended periods of time, typically between 8 to 10 hours per day. Sun exposure is likely, so participants should be prepared for varying weather conditions and are encouraged to take appropriate precautions such as wearing sunscreen, staying hydrated, and wearing protective clothing.
