Hourly wage: $13.00 per hour
Wage comments: Base rate is $13.00 per hour and is subject to increase up to $14.00 or $15.25 pending swim test results and lifeguard level placement.
Overtime: Sometimes
Overtime details: 1.5 regular rate

Bonus comments: End of season $500 bonus provided if full program completed and ending in good standing (no final written warning on file). May be subject to management discretion.

Job Description :
Lifeguards must constantly monitor guests in pools and ensure that guests follow the park rules. Lifeguards will be next to or in chlorinated water and will be in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Participants will be standing, sitting, and walking for long periods of time. As a lifeguard, participants must ensure a safe and healthy environment for the swimmers and they must be able to recognize and react properly in emergency situations. Additional duties may include checking and maintaining specific chemical levels in the pool and operating the pool filtration system as well as cleaning the pool and surrounding area-deck, guard office, pump room, removing trash and enforcing facility rules and gate control. Participants may be cleaning toilets and be using cleaning chemicals.
English language level needed – excellent.
Base rate is $13.00 per hour and is subject to increase up to $14.00 or $15.25 pending swim test results and lifeguard level placement.
Participants who are given a job offer will be required to submit a video of themselves swimming to showcase skills within seven days of acceptance, otherwise job will be forfeited.
American Red Cross training will be required on site and provided free of charge, participants will be paid during this time.
