Job Description:

Chambermaid/Housekeeper – To provide even flow of work within the housekeeping department by assisting in all aspects of assistant executive housekeeper’s duties. Maintains lodging accommodations by providing clean and comfortable units. Clean units by: removing trash and dirty linen, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, making bed, washing windows. Reports Lost and Found by: Turning in items left by direct report. Contributes to team effort by: Accomplishing related results as needed.

Cashier – Employee will be responsible for all aspects of the cashiering/hostessing position including, but not limited to: Handling Currency – Money/Credit. Ringing In Guest Transactions. Great Guests Provide Great Customer Service Control the flow (seating times) of the restaurant. Accepting/Distributing appropriate cash/credit amount per action. Providing great customer service. Ensure positive experiences for the guests. Utilization of a computer and software to carryout job position

Busser – To work efficiently, quickly and quietly in keeping tables cleaned and re-setting them by cleaning and maintaining the dining room while assisting servers whenever necessary. The busser should represent the company in accordance with its policies and procedures.

 

Host/Hostess – To greet, seat and insure that the guests are given prompt and courteous service by answering the telephone, utilizing seating charts, wait lists and representing the company in accordance with policies and procedures.

Barista – To work efficiently providing and serving our guests with a variety of drinks and food in accordance to the company policies and procedures.

Food Runner – Ensure accuracy of the food cooked to the ticket rang in. Preparing the plates and delivering the food to the table. Fulfilling any needs the guests may have after the food is delivered.

Banquet Worker – Contributes to guest experience of the Conference Center by cleaning and setting to standard all function space and the conference center commons areas for group and conference accounts as well as internal guests.

Line Cook – Provide an expedited and precise food product for Snowshoe Mountain, WV. Culinary Experience preferred.

Dishwasher – Maintains guest satisfaction by ensuring a clean and sanitary atmosphere for guests and co-workers.

Retail Sales – Is your favorite part of the outdoor industry the newest and hottest gear of the season? Do you pride yourself on the abundance of your product knowledge? Snowshoe’s premier hard goods shop, the Mountain Adventure Center (better known as the MAC) is seeking Retail Associates. The MAC is the Hub of outdoor action sports here on the mountain. From mountain bike rentals in the summer to high performance ski and snowboard rentals during winter season.

Lifeguard – Employees will be responsible for life guarding the aquatics facilities Split Rock Pools and Shavers Lake at Snowshoe Mountain Resort during all operational hours. Employees will also complete Ellis Lifeguard Certification.

Waiter/Waitress – Server: Snowshoe has a variety of dining outlets. We’re seeking enthusiastic and friendly Servers to provide our guests with that special hospitality that makes them consider Snowshoe their home away from home. Servers will be responsible for providing excellent guest service by taking orders, delivering food and drinks, recommending dining options and assisting the team.

General Food and Beverage Worker – The Food and Beverage Attendant position covers the middle ground between front of the house and back of the house food and beverage operations in our F&B Cabins. This position will allow an individual the ability to contribute to kitchen/dining/cashier/cooking duties while being scheduled in a respective role daily directly reporting to a leader. Includes Cashier, Kitchen/Cook,

Resort Worker – This position will be assigned at arrival. Participant hired for this position will be flexible with job responsibilities that might include: Food and Beverage, cleaning, cashiering, general positive customer service, and other duties as assigned.

Cook – COOK II- preparing and delivering guest food orders according to recipes and instructions provided by the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs. Maintaining a high level of output to meet business demands while paying strict attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Safety protocols must be followed when using kitchen equipment and preparing food. Assisting the culinary team with various tasks such as stocking ingredients, setting up workstations, and communicating effectively.

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+) only

Housing Information

Housing assisted by: Host Employer assists with housing

housing: $300 – $650 per student per month

Transportation details:  Transportation options available and might include Public Transportation, Taxi/Shuttle Service, & Ride Share (Uber/Lyft). Transportation is provided to and from work for $5.00 per week.
