Overtime details: In certain circumstances overtime may be approved, but not guaranteed on normal schedule.
Estimated hours per week: 32-40 hours per week
Job Prerequisites:
- Please be advised that this is a remote location, and there are NO opportunity for second jobs.
- Housing is tied to this placement. Should participant be dismissed from placement housing will be terminated immediately.

Job Description :
Public Area Attendant (The Housekeeper): executes and oversees all housekeeping operations across the entire campus. They are responsible for maintaining healthy, clean, and sanitized housing/restroom facilities for campers, staff, and guests. The Housekeeper is responsible for all cleaning duties, conducting routine audits, and maintaining adequate inventory levels of all supplies and equipment. They are responsible for submitting order requests to maintain inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead by example to guests and co-workers, creating positive and inspiring environment.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Work in a team environment.
- Understand Woodward’s policy on work shifts, guest possessions, and privacy issues.
- Ensure housekeeping services are executed to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest experience.
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
- Identify and report preventative, or other, maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Properly store chemicals, solvents, and flammable materials.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Implement high quality cleaning and sanitation across the entire Woodward campus.
- Upkeep camper cabins and guest lodging areas.
- Execute routine and intermittent cleaning and sanitation for all restrooms and housing facilities.
- Provide housekeeping duties including changing sheets, changing, and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging guest lodging areas.
- Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in maintaining Woodward safety logs, operational sheets, schedules, and incident logs.
- Perform weekly inventories and update master inventory for ordering purposes.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
- Other duties as assigned.
Restaurant Attendant: Responsible for providing exceptional food service to our campers, guests, and staff. This position requires the employee to prepare ingredients, wash dishes, attend to the dining area during meal times, and/or serve food to campers and staff.
Specific duties may include but are not limited to any combination of the following:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain health code standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and storage.
- Keeps the food service area organized and clean, both the front and back of house.
- Assistance with basic prep
- Manage check out process and oversee cash register when necessary
- Assist in maintaining clean and organized food preparation, service and storage areas
- Restock all food lines, paper products and grab and go areas
- Ensure menu items are served in a safe and healthy manner
- Assist young campers during their food and beverage experience
- Provide campers and guests that have food allergies with the utmost service
- Receive, date, rotate and store food, paper and chemical supplies
- Complete opening and closing tasks for front and back of house
- Cleaning the serving areas, kitchen, and cleaning dishes and taking out the garbage
- Oversee the designated dining area by ensuring tables, floors, and serving areas are well maintained
- Ensure that all dishwashing areas are clean, organized and maintained throughout the day
- Report any and all safety and maintenance concerns to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
