Wage comments: Possible performance raise after 30 days of employment

Overtime details: Overtime is possible but is not guaranteed. Anything over 40 hours per week worked is considered overtime and will be paid 1.5 times

- Must possess strong understanding of cooking methods & procedures, and knife-handling skills
- Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
- Ability to read & follow cooking directions and other instructions pertaining to the position
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Basic written & verbal communication skills
- Must be organized with a self-starter & motivated work ethic
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, lift, and carry heavy materials up to 50lbs
Job Description :
Line Cooks are leaders in our kitchen and are responsible for fueling food passion to our staff. They are challenged to assist in creating feature dishes, educating the staff, and learning every station. Line Cooks must accurately and efficiently cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups, and other hot food products, as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. They also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation, including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all plates. Alligator Adventure is an animal park featuring swamps with reptiles, plus live shows. By the ocean, O.D. Pavilion Amusement Park offers fairground rides and traditional snacks. Nearby McLean Park has a lake and picnic shelters. The Crooked Hammock with also host multiple events throughout the year, plan outings, and throw an “End of the Summer” Party.
