Hourly wage: 16.00 per Hour

Estimated hours per day: 32 hour weekly minimum

Number of days per week: 4-5 days

Job Prerequisites:

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift, lift up to 40lbs, and have no sensitivities to cleaning chemicals. Applicants for this role should be comfortable communicating directly with hotel guests. Open availability including nights, weekends and holidays is a must.

 

Job Description :

Breakfast Attendant: This position may require assisting in multiple areas of the hotel. Participants in this position will primarily be responsible for the breakfast attendant position. You would be primarily responsible for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet and for maintaining the breakfast dining area, forwarding appropriate inventory order to the General Manager or Guest Services Manager. Maintaining a clean serving area at all times and adequately replenishing all food, beverages and supplies during breakfast.. With a minimal supervision provide exceptional guest service by welcoming them and be well attended at all times. Employer may need to change position or location based on skill level, business needs, or to accommodate hours.

Laundry Attendant: The primary purpose of this position is to assure the proper washing and drying of laundry. This includes operating washing and drying equipment, loading and unloading from machines, measuring and administering cleaning agents to laundry per product specifications, and folding and storing fresh linens. When necessary, will assist in housekeeping as a House Person or Room Attendant.

The position requires the ability to perform the following essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Responds to guest concerns, complaints or suggestions appropriately, refers them to management in support of providing superior guest service.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or matters of significance.
• Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
• At all times projects a favorable image of Northwest x Southern Hospitality to the public.
• Maintains safe working conditions within department and Hotel. Employer may need to change position or location based on skill level, business needs, or to accommodate hours.

 

English Required skills: Upper Intermediate (A, B+, B, C+)
