Job purpose
SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with high energy and a passion for delivering excellent guest service. Qualified candidates will be responsible for delivering the highest level of guest service to all guests. The candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment.
SkyWheel Myrtle Beach is open 7 days a week. Position requires weekend and holiday availability.
Duties and responsibilities Includes, but not limited to:
- Provide the highest level of customer service while greeting guests as they enter and exit the attraction.
- Engage and entertain guests as they experience the attraction.
- Take an active role in assisting customers and answering any questions.
- Ensure proper behavior and attitude of guests and ask for assistance from a supervisor, manager, or security when needed.
- Understand and be knowledgeable to work all functions of the attraction, including ticket sales, ride operations, and photo attendant.
- Remain alert at all times, ensuring a safe loading platform and providing a safe environment.
- Ensure no unauthorized personnel enter the platform area while the wheel is in operation.
- Provide safety instructions and answer any questions while loading the passengers into the gondolas.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and practices.
- Assist in the performance of the wheel safety inspection checks.
- Ensure a smoke-free facility.
- Attend all scheduled training.
- Assist in pre opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee and manage crowd control and an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
- All other duties assigned

Cost Type: Weekly
Cost Amount: $135.00 per student per week
Housing Details: Participants are provided a shared apartment approximately one mile from SkyWheel MB. Facilities are fully furnished with full kitchens and shared sitting room; laundry facilities are onsite or within distance. All bedrooms are separated by gender, but the apartment may be co-ed.
