Position: Sales Representative – 7 Eleven
Position Available: 2 positions
Hourly wage: $13.00 per hour
Estimated hours per day: 6-7 hours / day
Number of days per week: 5 days / week
Job Prerequisites:
- Sales Associates at 7-Eleven provide excellent customer service, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Job Description :
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers with purchases and inquiries.
- Handle transactions efficiently using the cash register and POS system.
- Provide information about promotions and loyalty programs.
Store Operations:
- Restock shelves, refrigerators, and displays to ensure product availability.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering stock as needed.
- Check expiration dates and rotate stock for freshness.
Cash Handling & Security:
- Process payments (cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments) accurately.
- Handle returns and refunds according to store policy.
- Follow security procedures to prevent theft and fraud.
Food Service (if applicable):
- Prepare and serve fresh food items such as coffee, hot dogs, and bakery items.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper food safety standards.
Store Cleanliness & Maintenance:
- Keep the store neat, clean, and organized.
- Sanitize surfaces, sweep floors, and take out the trash regularly.
- Maintain restroom cleanliness.
English Required skills: Advanced (A, B+, B)
Start Date: May 7th – June 1st, 2025
End Date: September 5th – September 7th, 2025
Housing Information
Housing assisted by: Employer
Cost Details: $50 per student per week
Transportation details: Bicycle – provided by the landlord. Participants working at the Croatan Hwy location will have transportation to/from work provided by the employer.
