Job description: The position requires great customer service skills and the ability to be part of our team. You need to be flexible and willing to work at any or all of the stations: busser, food runner, server, kitchen prep, host, and anything additional requested by management. You will be trained in various areas & your work will include but not be limited to the following: cashiering, bagging orders, taking food orders, cooking, handling pork products, cleaning, taking out the trash, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, set up for opening, help close the restaurant and prepare for the next day.
Busser/Food Runner: Sets the table for new guests, clears and cleans table once guests leave. Bringing food to tables for guests as plates are ready. Removing dirty dishes from the table, etc.
Serving: Taking orders for assigned tables, entering orders into the computer system, ensuring all needs are met during the guests’ stay, creation of checks/presentation/payment.
Hosting: Greeting customers and seat them.
Kitchen Prep: Chopping food ingredients, preparation of easy dishes, and the expedition of plates from the kitchen to appropriate tables.
English required skills: Upper Intermediate
Start date: March 7th – March 30th, 2021
End date: June 1st – July 6th, 2021
Job Prerequisites: Basic computer and upper-intermediate English language skills required.
