Position: Lifeguard
Position Available: 3 Positions (Female and Male)
Hourly wage: $10.00/hour per hour (returning lifeguard $10.25 per hour) 
Estimated hours per week :  48-60 hour per week
Swimming Test: Yes

Job Description: Lifeguards are responsible for guarding deep and shallow water areas, ensuring park rules are followed, and keeping guests safe. Lifeguards must be able to assist guests with a smile.Training is provided after arrival. General cleaning is required. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor as needed.

You must be a proficient swimmer and able to swim 180 meters without stopping as well as tread water for 1 min and retrieve a 4.54 killogram brick from 3 meters deep.

–      Report to work, in uniform, no later than 15 minutes before the scheduled shift
–      Ensure the safety of the facility patrons
–      Enforce facility, rules, and regulations
–      Monitor gate control including checking patron’s identification cards
–      Attend and participate in staff meeting and in-service sessions
–      Respond to patron inquiries and concerns
–      Complete the general care and cleaning of the facility and perform minor maintenance and repair of swimming pool equipment

Required skills: Advanced to Intermediate
Start Date: May 1st to 25th, 2018
End Date: August 10th, to 31st, 2018
Housing cost: $139/week (utilities included)

Certification: 
– American red cross certificate (CPR, Lifeguard, AED, First Aid)
